NNL is recruiting up to 14 student placements. These placements will be for a minimum of 8 weeks, over the summer of 2011. Applications are invited from students who are in either their second or third year of study in one of the following disciplines: Mechanical or Chemical Engineering, Physics, Chemistry or Materials Science. The placements will pay £13k p.a. pro rata and will be based at any of NNL’s UK locations. We will also offer assistance of up to £65 per week towards accommodation should the successful applicant need to live away from home. In addition to enabling students to practically apply their academic work in an industrial environment, these placements play a key role in NNL’s resourcing strategy.
