NNL is a partner in the innovation driven…

Gamma Programme

Do you have technology applicable to autonomous systems mission management applications?

Do you want funding and expert technical support to help further develop your technologies?

If you answer ‘Yes’ to those two questions then the GAMMA programme can assist.

GAMMA, or Growing Autonomous Mission Management Applications, is a technology and next generation supply chain development programme.

GAMMA is led by the North West Aerospace Alliance in partnership with the National Nuclear Laboratory, BAE Systems and the Universities of Liverpool (including the Virtual Engineering Centre), Manchester, Lancaster, Salford and UCLAN.

The GAMMA Programme is seeking to drive technology innovations applicable to the mission management of autonomous systems by the development of application software (‘apps’).

Although a wide field of technologies will be considered by the GAMMA partners, the following areas are of particular interest:

  • Data Management
  • Sensing and Communications
  • Image Processing and Recognition
  • Object Classification, Tracking and Monitoring
  • Multi-task, multi-asset planning & allocation

Technology calls are open until 5th April 2013 for applications from all companies who are interested in receiving assistance through funding and technical support to develop new technologies.
