NNL Shortlisted for Prestigious Business Award

The National Nuclear Laboratory (NNL) is delighted to have been shortlisted for a prestigious award by Britain’s Energy Coast Business Cluster. NNL is one of two companies shortlisted for the “Excellence in Health & Safety” award, the winner of which will be announced at a gala dinner in the Energus centre in West Cumbria in November.

Commenting on today’s news, NNL’s Head of Environment, Health, Safety & Quality, Dr Mark Edmiston, said:

“Across the nuclear industry, safety is the number one priority and in NNL we make no exception to that rule. We recognise that excellent safety performance is the key to doing business and are extremely proud of the health and safety culture that we have developed over the years. It permeates through all of our operations and extends to helping our people stay safe and healthy in every aspect of their lives. I’m really pleased that we’ve been shortlisted for this award and it is a great testament to the efforts of everyone in NNL to remain highly focused on health and safety. I know we are all now looking forward to learning who the overall winner will be at the Awards Dinner in November.”
