To All NNL – particularly anyone based at Workington or planning to be there on Monday 27th March

  • IT problems at Workington affecting access to various system
  • Alternative arrangements suggested for Monday 27th March
  • Further update will be issued when the problems are resolved

Following a power cut at Workington on Friday, there are ongoing IT issues affecting access to email, shared network drives, the Hub, IMS and Agresso. Additionally, anyone calling Workington will need to do so using an external number. At present users can only log in and use their P drives.

ATOS are working on solving the issues but there is currently no timetable for resolution.

As such, any Workington residents needing access to these systems who are able to work from the Sellafield site should do so on Monday 27th March. Alternatively, you may consider working from home. In either case, please let your line manager and/or colleagues know.

Anyone due to travel to Workington on Monday and in need of IT systems should consider changing their arrangements.

If you do not need IT or can manage with P drive access only, then please attend Workington as usual. Additionally, if you are unable to attend Sellafield or work from home then please turn up to Workington as usual.

A further communication will be issued once the problems have been resolved.
