ILW Analysis

NNL has extensive experience of ILW radiochemical
and physical analysis for a diverse range of waste decommissioning samples. We can handle activity levels up to 50mSvh-1 gamma including dry material.

We provide a professional service focusing on delivery, safety and quality. We work in partnership with our customers from initial contact, transport of samples, throughout the analysis to final reporting.

NNL has specialised ILW facilities, including lead cells for safe storage, glove boxes and bespoke laboratories.

Characterisation

Initial assessment includes gamma spectrometry, visual inspection, wet and dry weight per unit volume, soluble organic content.
