Rob joined NNL in September 2016 as Business Programme Management Officer and is responsible for leading NNL through business transformation. In this role Rob is accountable for shaping our strategic approach to transformation, building the NNL capability to deliver and leading us on the change journey.
Rob has spent most of his career in the Aerospace and Defence sector. He spent 30 years with BAE Systems and its predecessor companies, progressing from a technical apprentice to Vice President in the BAE Saudi Arabia business where he had responsibility for Engineering, Programme Management and Supply Chain Management. He also had responsibility for business transformation leading the implementation of BAE’s home market strategy for Saudi Arabia.
Rob has operated at a senior executive and business board level for the last 15 years and specialises in business transformation and change. Having worked for 3 years as an interim and consultant in the Nuclear, Defence and Public Sectors, Rob joined NNL from the Co-op Group where he was responsible for the establishment of the Group transformation strategy, a complex programme of change with investment in excess of £1Bn over 3 years. He also led the completion of the commercial separation of the Co-op Group from Bank.
