Keith brings to NNL more than 30 years' experience from a number of different roles in the Nuclear and Electricity Supply Industry, including the holding of a national representative appointment on CIGRE.
Keith joined the CEGB in 1980 as an engineering trainee and worked as a specialist electrical engineer supporting operating power stations across the UK, commissioning major power plants (Drax, Heysham 2) and was a key specialist in the Electrical Protection System design of Sizewell B Power Station.
More recently Keith has focused on management of nuclear R&D Facilities and having managed Berkeley site facilities, moved to Cumbria in 2002 to manage the transition of the Windscale Laboratory into BNFL. For the past 10 years Keith has led NNL's Facilities teams, before being appointed as NNL's Facilities and EHSS&Q Director in October 2013.
Keith is a Chartered Engineer, a Corporate Member of the Institution of Engineering and Technology and a European Registered Engineer (Eur Ing) of the European Federation of National Engineering Associations.
